Buying an aircraft is a big decision with a lot of moving parts. We work for you, not the seller: we find the right aircraft for your mission, check it thoroughly, negotiate the price and see the deal through closing, anywhere in the country.
How we help you buy
- Mission and budget first. We start with how you fly, who flies with you and what you want to spend to buy and to own. That tells us which aircraft make sense before we look at a single listing.
- A real search. We search listed and off-market aircraft through our contacts with owners, dealers and brokers, and bring you a short list with the good and the bad of each.
- Inspection and test flight. We arrange the pre-purchase inspection and test flight and go through the records with you, so you know what you are buying.
- Negotiation. We use what the inspection finds, and what similar aircraft have sold for, to negotiate for you.
- Escrow, title and closing. We coordinate escrow, title searches and closing paperwork, and we stay with you until the aircraft is yours.

From Bonanzas to a Gulfstream G800
We recently represented the buyer in the acquisition of a 2026 Gulfstream G800, and we help first-time owners find the right piston single too. See the aircraft we have bought and sold for clients on our Recent Transactions page.
Hancock Aviation located and purchased a BE-A36 for us this year and it was a super smooth process and I love the airplane.

After you buy
Buying is only the start. After closing, our maintenance team at KBTR can take care of inspections and upgrades, aircraft management can handle crew, scheduling and records, and our parts desk can source traceable parts when you need them. Have an aircraft to sell first? Our aircraft brokerage team can market it at the same time.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a buyer’s agent do?
A buyer’s agent works for you, not the seller. We help you decide which aircraft fit your mission and budget, search the market, arrange the pre-purchase inspection and test flight, negotiate the price and coordinate escrow, title and closing.
Do you only show me aircraft you have listed?
No. We search listed and off-market aircraft through our contacts with owners, dealers and brokers, and bring you a short list with the good and the bad of each.
Do you work with buyers outside Louisiana?
Yes. We help buyers across the country, from first-time owners looking for the right piston single to the buyer of a 2026 Gulfstream G800.
