How a sale works
What selling with us looks like
- Price: A straight answer on what your aircraft will bring, based on its records and real sales.
- Prepare: Our KBTR shop clears squawks and paperwork gaps before the listing goes live.
- Market: We write the listing, photograph the aircraft and put it in front of buyers.
- Screen: We screen inquiries and handle showings, so you only hear from serious buyers.
- Close: Offers, pre-purchase inspection, escrow, title and closing, until the funds are in your account.

Aircraft we have sold
Our Recent Transactions page lists 63 aircraft we have sold or acquired for clients, from piston singles to a 2019 Gulfstream G650ER.
Hancock Aviation recently listed and sold my aircraft in a short time-frame; providing me a very smooth and stress-free process. Holton gave me good advice in the beginning and updates along the way.

One team
Selling to buy something else?
Selling is often one step in a bigger plan. If you are moving up, our aircraft acquisitions team can search for your next aircraft while we sell this one. If the aircraft needs work before it is listed, our maintenance shop at KBTR can help, and aircraft management is there if you would rather keep flying without the day-to-day work of ownership.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What does an aircraft broker do?
A broker sells your aircraft for you. We price it against what similar aircraft have actually sold for, get it ready to list, market it, screen inquiries, handle showings and work through offers with you. We also coordinate the pre-purchase inspection and manage escrow, title and closing, so you have one person to call from the first conversation to the day the funds arrive.
Do I need to move my aircraft to Baton Rouge?
No. We sell aircraft for owners across the country, and your aircraft can stay where it is based. It only needs to come to Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (KBTR) if it needs work in our maintenance shop before it is listed.
Can you help me buy my next aircraft at the same time?
Yes. Our aircraft acquisitions team can search for your next aircraft while we sell this one, so both deals are planned together and you still have one person to call.
