Hancock Aviation is a growing aviation services company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We specialize in the maintenance, sales, and management of private and corporate aircraft. Our company operates a professional maintenance facility and is actively preparing for FAA Part 145 Repair Station certification as we continue to expand our operations.
We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to the President to support leadership and help maintain operational efficiency in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Job Description
The Executive Assistant to the President will provide direct administrative and operational support to the company’s leadership. This role is responsible for managing priorities, coordinating communications, tracking follow-ups, and helping ensure that daily operations move forward efficiently.
This is a high-responsibility role that requires strong organization, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct executive support to the President
- Manage schedules, priorities, and follow-ups
- Draft and coordinate professional correspondence
- Handle incoming communications and triage requests appropriately
- Coordinate internal communication between departments
- Track action items and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Assist with operational coordination and administrative projects
- Identify workflow issues and help implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of executive assistant or senior administrative experience
- Experience supporting business owners or senior leadership preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving ability and independent judgment
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting executives in operational businesses
- Experience in aviation, construction, manufacturing, or other technical industries
- Familiarity with business software such as QuickBooks, CRM systems, or project management tools
