Dan Lane brings more than 30 years of aviation maintenance and leadership experience to Hancock Aviation. Before joining Hancock, Dan served as Vice President of Technical Services and FAA Accountable Manager at Aero Centers, following nearly three decades with Epps Aviation in Atlanta, Georgia, where he directed one of the most respected aircraft service centers in the Southeast.

Throughout his career, Dan has earned a reputation for technical excellence, regulatory expertise, and a commitment to advancing safety and quality standards across the industry. He holds multiple FAA designations, including Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR-T) and Inspection Authorization (IA), and is certified as an ASNT Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level III professional. Dan also serves as Vice Chair of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Maintenance Committee, where he contributes to national initiatives focused on improving maintenance operations, safety practices, and workforce development throughout general aviation.

In his new role, Dan will oversee Hancock Aviation’s maintenance operations, leading the company’s service team. His leadership will focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and ensuring every aircraft maintained by Hancock Aviation meets the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
