Overview
Hancock Aviation is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our physical facilities. This role is critical in ensuring our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and effectively support our aviation operations.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, including hangars, offices, and other structures. Ensure facilities meet industry standards and are conducive to efficient operations.
• Ensure all facilities comply with safety, environmental, and building regulations. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget. Control costs related to maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for facility-related projects. Oversee contract negotiations, ensure quality of work, and manage timelines.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for facilities. Coordinate drills and ensure readiness for potential emergencies.  

Key Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in an aviation or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in general computer applications.  

Job Specifics:  

• Type: Full-time
• Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Working Hours:  

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.

 
Location:  

• Baton Rouge, LA. A reliable commute or plans to relocate before the job commencement is a must.

 
Essential Requirements:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's License.
• Minimum of 3 years in a facility maintenance role.
